The first OEM contracts were concluded for gas measuring technology with companies in the US and Japan.

1993

Artema's gas measuring technology was patented.

1992

The Artema MM200 patient monitor and the AQUA+ line of single-use heat-moisture exchangers (HMEs), so-called artificial noses were introduced.

1990

Artema Medical AB was incorporated in Sweden 1990 with the objective to develop, manufacture and market advanced products for routine care of anesthesia and intensive care patients.
